A World Away
I spoke with the family today. I have been talking to them a lot more lately. Today they gave me the news that Alicia made it safely to Alaska. This is her first trip away from home without my mom. She is participation in a program that has been going on at our old middle school for as long as I can remember. She is a participant of the Alaska Great Lakes Program. I did the Great Lakes portion when I was her age. I took my first trip away from my family at her age; I went to Greece and Turkey. I think that this will be good for her. I wonder how she will react. The PB&J diet may get old really quick!posted by Marquise at
