5 Miles of Misery
UGH! Today we completed one of the graduation requirements for OCS. We did a five-mile foot march with a ruck on our back! GOD DID IT SUCK. I have been having some problems with my knee, but I made it through! I didn’t fall out and that was my goal! I didn’t even fall back into a different platoon. I made it. It is really hard to do a foot march when you are short, those with longer legs have a distinct advantage. At 5’4” I am not on the tall side! Tomorrow we learn more about Troop Leading Procedures! It is really hard to stay awake in class, I am glad that they allow us to have caffeine!!posted by Marquise at
