Another First!
I did something that I have never done before! Today I did a half marathon on inline skates! I did pretty well. I am not a pro by any means, but I did accomplish it! It started at 6:30 in Orlando. It is a bit cool for Florida, I needed a sweatshirt this morning to keep from getting cold. It was only in the 60's! This morning was cool, but not as cold as it was in Cleveland at the moment! I heard that it was snowing!! Can you believe that? I am sitting here in shorts and a sports bra and it is snowing up north!
I am feeling a lot more fit! I ran the hash last Thursday evening for most of the way! I was up front for a good portion of the first half. I am currently training for my first 10K. I am going to do the Turkey Trot in Clearwater on Thanksgiving! That will be a good time! Bring on the Pain!!
The reason that I did the inline skates was that I needed something to do while Corey did his first marathon! Currently he is still running it! He seemed to be doing well. He was up beat! I am not sure what lap he is on. He started at 6:30 as well.
Since we are in Orlando and it is Saturday, we will go to the Orlando Hash tonight. Corey will drive the beer truck, he will be in no shape to run it!
